Merry Marketing! Our 2024 Reflections

As we wrap up 2024, it’s no surprise that we’re feeling a little reflective. This year has been HUGE for both of us, personally and professionally. It’s the year of two weddings and a baby – our very own sitcom-esque title of 2024. So to tie a pretty bow on an incredible year, we sat down to discuss all things 2024, personal and otherwise!

🍍 MARKETING’S ROLE IN L&D

Over the last twelve months, we’ve certainly seen the role of marketing grow in L&D teams. We’ve seen more people talking about marketing for learning, more clients speaking to us about what they can do next, and more people realising the huge benefits of this marketing stuff. It’s phenomenal, and even though we’re five years into our work here at MAAS, we know we’re only just getting started.

🍍 ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGES REMAIN

Engagement remains L&D’s biggest challenge *pretends to be shocked*. But we are making progress. We can see trailblazers within our networks slogging forward, and they’re seeing the marketing efforts pay off. But we have some way to go to shift mindsets industry-wide, but hey, these mindsets have been around for decades.

Wouldn’t you like to know! 👀 We’re keeping schtum for now, but we have some really exciting things coming your way in 2025. We’re almost giddy with excitement, but for once, we’re keeping our lips zipped!
